Busy Times Ahead

Hello again everyone!

I apologize for such a large gap between this post and my last one, but it has been a very busy few weeks for our chapter. :) We have spent the past few weeks preparing for some big recruitment events we had coming up, making sure they would be as amazing as possible. Our new Recruitment chair, Krissy Rustemeyer has been doing a fabulous job. These two interest meetings held on the 31st and the 1st allowed us to hand out 7 bids, resulting in 6 new tadpoles. They were ribboned last night at University Point in front of their friends and family.

Also, this past weekend we had a closed weekend in order to train new officers and make sure everyone is caught up on their positions. Stefani and Bridgette came in and helped us out a lot.  :) We also had a sisterhood movie night, which was a blast.

We also have quite a few events coming up. Pinning for our new members will take place this copming thursday at 9pm. We have our date auction fundraiser happening on February 13th at 8pm, a Sweetheart dinner on February 25th,we are still deciding on a time, as well as a social with the brothers of Phi Delta Pi on February 29th at 8pm. Also, Greek Week practice will be in full swing next week, and we are all extremely excited.

Also, the alumnae newsletter is in the works, and if there is anything in particular you all would like to see included please let me know, I am completely open to hear your fabulous ideas. I will add my contact info to the facebook group so everyone can get in touch with me as needed, and there is also the CAL email, astomiconalum@gmail.com

I hope you all have a wonderful week!
Tau love and more of mine,
Julie♥

Introductions

Hello Ladies!

I would like to introduce myself as the Omicron chapter's new Collegiate Alum Liaison officer. :) I've come up with some great ideas, this blog being one of them. I feel that this is going to be a great way to keep each and every one of you informed on the life of the chapter, especially since this is going to be a big semester for us. I plan on posting at least once a week, most likely on Thursday nights after we have our weekly business meeting. Some other things that I hope to accomplish in this position is to get an Alumnae Newsletter started, that will go out to you all once a semester, and possibly scheduling a closed weekend where we can invite all of you in and have a dinner of some sort.

Right now, we have all kinds of exciting things happening in the next few weeks. We have interest meetings planned for the 31st of January and the 1st of February, and ribboning for the ladies we give bids to will take place on the 2nd, and will be open to the public and held at University Point. Pinning will be held on February 9th before our business meeting. Along with these great recruitment events happening we are in full swing with Greek Week planning and practicing. Dance practices are being scheduled, and teams for the other events are working on getting practices going as well.

I cannot wait to talk to/ meet all of you, and please feel free to let me know of anything you all would like to see me do for this office, and anything I can do to help you all out.
Tau Love and all of mine,
Julie♥
